Bill Heritage, owner and vineyard manager, has a true passion and commitment for Cabernet Sauvignon. If you ask Bill about Cabernet he will tell you, “Cab is king”. Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most challenging grapes to grow on the East Coast as it needs a large number of ripening days to reach full potential. A tremendous amount of effort and commitment on Bill’s part has yielded some of the finer Cabernet Sauvignon in our region.
This particular bottling of Cabernet Sauvignon is without a double the best we have released to date. A significant portion of our best Cabernet Sauvignon fruit from Harry’s Vineyard was set aside for this limited Proprietor’s Reserve release. The wine shows a new level of depth, complexity and concentration never before achieved from our estate.
