2008 Cabernet Franc

Just off Route 322 is a small 1/2 acre block of mature Cabernet Franc vines that consistently producr richly-flavored, quality fruit. Following fermentation, this wine spent 14 months in premium oak barrels before bottling. Tasting notes: soft garnet red color; aromas of baked plum, dark cherry, aromatic herbs & violets; red berry fruit & toasted oak flavors, cedar cabinet, minerals and again, herbal notes; good structure & balance lifts a sound, ripe finish.
